The cyclops makes it

Without that it would just be an unnecessary date window messing up a simplistic Panerai dial. But the weird under-crystal cyclops ends up adding to the weird textured look of the watch in a way I'm enjoying. I think what I like about this actually comes

I don’t know if I’m allowed to make the comparison, but I’ll do it anyway. I see some similarities with Panerai somewhere between 2005 and 2010. The brand was incredibly popular at the time and had a wide range of collectors coming from all backgrounds. S

I don’t think they have ever introduced a no-date Submersible, which is unfortunate.

I don’t know the history of Panerai’s decision to introduce a Submersible line, but I always thought it interesting since Panerais are fundamentally dive watches to begin with. I’m assuming the decision came with their entry into the commercial / civilian

Reality completely gone, the insane overhyped Cartier auction market.

Does anyone have an explanation for the insanely high prices most Cartier pieces achieved at yesterday’s Sotheby’sauction? In my opinion, Cartier produces fairly average work …and I don’t mean that negatively. I own a Santos myself, but it’s nothing more

I do. I was able to secure that watch the moment it was announced, and was very excited for it. When my piece was ready, I received a curt reply from the store indicating I had 48 hours to pick it up. In person. And having another pick it up on my behalf
